black freshwater pearl and dark amethyst necklace

This unique design is an interwoven necklace which brings together silver-grey keshi pearls, large black baroque pearls and silver-grey freshwater pearls. These are combined with black onyx, crystal quartz, firepolished dark amethyst Czech glass and shimmering Murano glass seed beads from Venice to create a sophisticated colour scheme. The wire is stainless steel, covered in sterling silver for a beautiful sheen. This is then coated in transparent nylon to help prevent tarnishing. Length: 42 - 47 cm (16.5 - 18.5 inches).

I love the interwoven drama in this piece.

It, for me, conjures up vivid images of elegant dancing evening events, Balls, Weddings, an evening at the Ballet. You can feel the movement in the design, in the evening, the night air. Midnight strikes, and there, mixed among the dispersing crowd is the lasting sensation of a perfect evening.

rose quartz and pearl cluster necklace

I love this design. This statement necklace incorporates a 14mm rose quartz sphere, accented by crystal quartz and and a suite of mixed freshwater pearls. Sterling silver is used throughout this design, together with a 41cm (16 inch) sterling silver snake chain.

Lara designed this unique item not long ago, incorporating some exquisite pearls she had recently obtained. I just adore the way this beautiful cluster hangs down from the gorgeous sterling silver snake-chain.
