button and freshwater pearl bracelet by Lara Farewell

This cute bracelet is an eclectic mix of shell buttons and freshwater pearls.

These are strung on sterling silver over stainless steel wire (also coated in transparent nylon to prevent tarnishing), with a sterling silver clasp. It looks wiggly in the picture, but stretches to fit round your wrist beautifully! Length: 17.5 cm (7 inches)

If you are looking for an unusual bracelet for a present (or for yourself!) this unique piece could be the one for you. Because of the way Lara has designed this bracelet, it has a wonderful spring to the design - quite remarkable!

Lara is passionate about using high quality materials, and this comes through in this creation of hers. You can check it out on Lara's website at www.larafarewell.co.uk. Like almost all of her designs they are one-offs, so if it isn't there, you've missed it! (Be quick!)

love heart necklace

This Czech glass heart has a fuschia pink centre, matching the little pink pearls emanating away from it. These are combined with white freshwater pearls, sparkling Murano glass and crystal quartz. The wire is stainless steel for strength, covered in sterling silver for a beautiful sheen, which is then coated in transparent nylon to help prevent tarnishing - genius! There is a sterling silver clasp and extender chain, 36 - 44 cm (14 - 17 inches).

I really like the way in which Lara has combined the bold fuschia tones of the glass and pearls with the simple elegance of the fine silver choker. Because the wire is so strong, it is beautifully thin and wonderfully sophisitcated.

There is also a cute little pink freshwater pearl at the end of the solid silver extender chain - lovely!

You can find this unique necklace (and some of her other recent earrings and bracelets) online at Lara's webpage: www.larafarewell.co.uk . Like most of her designs, there is only one of these so you'd better be quick if you would like this piece!
